Tbilisi State University represents its candidacy for Supreme Court Chairman to President

Tbilisi State University has offered the candidacy of Professor Irakli Burduli to fill the vacancy of Chairman of the Supreme Court.

The university announced that Burduli meets all requirements for Chairman of the Supreme Court set by the President. Reportedly his candidacy will be officially represented with the official support of the Juridical Faculty and Academic council.

The university released a statement saying:

"Irakli Burduli with his managerial qualities, academic performance, adherence to principles and professional attitude to the judicial system fully meets the criteria imposed by the President."
