Due to the complex meteorological conditions across the country there are limitations on motor roads.
According to the Roads Department, due to the intense snowfall, movement of trailers and semi-trailers are prohibited at Kutaisi-Tkibuli-Ambrolauri motorway, namely Nakarela Pass, whiletraffic movement in other directions is free. A similar restriction is due to heavy snowfall in Borjomi-Bakuriani-Akhalkalaki 31 km section of Andesit-Gadolori.
