In the hotel "Leogrand" in Batumi, 11 people died as a result of the fire, including 10 citizens of Georgia and one citizen of the Republic of Iran as the statement of the Ministry of Internal Affairs states.

According to the agency, 21 people neede hospitalization. . After initial medical care, it was determined that their lives are not in danger. Three patients have already been discharged from medical institution and the rest are distributed to different clinics of Batumi.
