Transparency International Georgia publishes the research, which focuses on the donors of the ruling party. The non-governmental organization points to suspicious transactions, which are observed in the work of the donor companies.

The survey also deals with donations made by individuals related to the Former Prime Minister Bidzina Ivanishvili - specific numbers are mentioned in the document indicating a record disproportionate electoral funding between the ruling party and the opposition.

"There is quite a large number of donors who are linked to the former Prime Minister in direct or indirect form, there are 12 such individuals. For example, you can see five directors of " Cartu Bank". Another business group is "Citadel", which is linked to Bidzina Ivanishvili"s brother and Dugladze"s wine factory. There are 30 individuals which were donating to "United National Movement" in 2012 and contribute to "Georgian Dream" since 2012. This is not forbidden by law, but it is an interesting trend."Said Levan Natroshvili.
