Prosecutor"s Office demands imprisonment for Aleksandre Kvakhadze"s insult

The Prosecutor"s Office requests imprisonment as a preventive measure for the physical and verbal insult of the member of the political council of the United National Movement, Alexander Kvakhadze.

Kvakhadze was physically and verbally insulted on January 17 in Tsintsadze Street, Tbilisi.

A person born in 1990 was soon charged with violence. The Prosecutor"s Office has already appealed to the court. The charges envision a sentence of up to one year imprisonment.

The victim himself does not connect this fact to political activity and consideres it to be criminal.
