Konstantine Kublashvili commented on the mandatory criteria for the candidates on the position of the Chairman of Supreme Court. He stated that there is no special law which says that the Chairman shouldn`t be member of any political party.
" There are no such a bans or some specific criteria in the code. But, naturally, should be checked if the candidate is under any political influence"- Kublashvili stated.

The term of Konstantine Kublashvili at the position of Chairman of the Supreme Court expires on February 23. The president has to name his candidate before that date.
