Georgian Dream will register the resolution on the torture of Tatunashvili at today"s sitting of the Parliament Bureau.

In parallel, the parliamentary majority continues to work on the text of the document. Meetings with the parliamentary minority are planned. In the resolution, the Georgian government condemns the facts of death of Giga Otkhozoria and Archil Tutunashvili and imposes full responsibility on the Russian Federation.

It also appeals to the international community and requests adequate response to the incident.

"The resolution strongly condemns the actions of the occupation regime, , and once again condemns the facts of of death of Giga Otkhozoria and Archil Tutunashvili and in both cases imposes full responsibility on the Russian Federation. It also urges to stop destructive actions and effectively engage in the Geneva talks process, "said Sophio Katsarava, chairwoman of the Parliamentary Committee on Foreign Relations.

Whether the initiative of "European Georgia" will be reflected in the resolution developed by the ruling team regarding the creation of Otkhozoria i-Tatunashvili list is not known at this stage. The opposition demands sanctions against specific individuals.
