A large part of society demands to change the name for Moscow Avenue. According to the petition, the number of signatories is constantly growing, it is said that instead of the name of the capital of the occupant country, this avenues shal be given the name of the deceased hero Archil Tatunashvili.

This petition of the society was joined by the opposition. Members of Sakrebulo "National Movement" today called on the ruling team to rename Moscow Avenue and name it in honour of national hero Archil Tutunashvili. The minority demands to take decision in the shortest possible terms.
Representative of Sakrebulo responded to the special demand of the opposition today.

The head of the Heraldic and Naming Commission Tinatin Niblovashvili said that the change of name for Moscow Avenue has long been on agenda.

Maia Bitadze, deputy Mayor of Tbilisi stated that the name of all heroes should be appreciated.
