The official Moscow believes that the Georgian government has decided to expel the Russian diplomat by pressure from the West, first and foremost from the Great Britain and the United States. Grigory Karasin has made a statement in an interview with RIA Novosti. According to Russian Deputy Foreign Minister, Moscow is disappointed with this step.
According to the source of "Rustavi 2" the Russian diplomat has already left Georgia.
