Batumi port director resigned

After four days of hunger strike, port director resigned.

The decision was taken by the port workers. They have been asking for four days the directorsignation.

During the day negotiations between the port workers and the representatives of the management company "Kaz-shell Olli" were underway, while Zaal Mikeladze, the Minister of Healthcare of Adjara, served as a mediator.

Staff protested against the planned reorganization in the port. According to their information, the port manager of Kazakhstan was planning massive redundance of employees.
