The appeal of the civil sector to the president, parliament and law enforcement agencies. Since the deterrence order envisaged by the law does not work, the civil sector talks about the necessity of tightening the law. The authors of the petition request the femicide to be recognized as an aggravating circumstance. Last year"s statistics are alarming and terrifying. Only in two years as a result of domestic violence 40 women have been killed. In these two years, there were two initiatives requesting to tighten the legislation but they did not receive support of MPs.

In addition besides tightening of the law and penalty measures, the civil sector calls on the government to take another decision-making systematic reporting on women"s killings as one of the means for prevention.
