"Politicians should not make rigid statements" - Mamuka Mdinaradze responds to the government"s demand in regard to Rustavi 2

Mamuka Mdinaradze, a Chairman of the faction "Georgian Dream"responds to the appeal of the government to the Strasbourg Court in regard to Rustavi 2, where the government asks the Strasbourg Court to hand over Rustavi 2 to Kibar Khalvashi.

Mamuka Mdinaradze says that any politician should refrain from legal or political assessments of the process.

According to one of the leaders of the ruling party, there is a free and independent media environment in Georgia.

"I am convinced that media does not have any problems in Georgia. We should wait for any legal decision and I think that other type of comment, made by any politician will damage the process,"- Mamuka Mdinaradze said.


The Ministry of Justice asks the European Court in its appeal to cancel a temporary measure in regard to Rustavi 2.
