Non-parliamentary opposition responds to the appeal of the government to the Strasbourg Court in regard to Rustavi2.

Opposition states that the Georgian authorities try to capture critical media.

According to them, the request, sent to the European Court of Human Rights has once again confirmed that government. is behind Kibar Khalvashi.

"The position of the Ministry of Justice once again confirms that the rival party of" Rustavi 2 "is the government. The authorities are concerned that the Court"s prestige has been damaged and that is why they demand abolishment of the suspension mechanism, but these were decisions of three instances of court which damaged the prestige of Georgian justice,"- says Nino Goguadze, member of " Free Democrats."

The opposition is convinced that the Strasbourg Court will make an objective decision and will not meet the demands of the Georgian government.

" It is very feeble argument to use the statement of European Georgia "to protect its positions by the government," said Tamar Kordzaia, a member of the Republican Party.
