The joint work was discussed at the meeting of the Ministers of MIA of Georgia and Lithuania.

Giorgi Gakharia introduced to the Lithuanian counterpart the steps taken by Georgia in cooperation with EU Member States.

Discussions also focused on the measures taken by the Government of Georgia in order to maintain visa-free regime with the EU.

"We have also underlined and thanked our colleagues for the assistance that Lithuania provided during the acception of visa-free regime. We also talked about setting up a police attache institute in the region, "the minister said.
