Locals in the village of Tsetskhlauri have protested against cutting of the centennial eucalyptus. According to the population, the healthy tree was cut down only because it hindered transportation of trees for Bidzina Ivanishvili"s summer house.

According to locals, the company, which carries out transportation of trees, plans to cut tens of centennial eucalypti in the village of Tsetskhlauri today, although the population does not allow them to do so.

After the resistance the company representatives left the area. Up to 15 trees are planned to be moved from different villages of Kobuleti to the Ivanishvili`s villa.

The transportation of trees should be done exactly via the road where the centennial eucalyptus was cut down. The local authorities do not comment on the incident.
