Smoking prohibited in public places from today

Smoking is prohibited in public places. The law is stricter and consumption of tobacco is not allowed in all closed establishments, including bar-restaurants.

The exception will be airport transit zone, casinos, cigar-bars and penitentiary establishments.

The institution violating the rules will be fined 500 at the first stage and in case of a repeated violation with 1000 GEL In case of a violation of the regulation by a citizen, the law enforcers will be involved in the case.
