Solidarity action was held in Tkibuli. The locals commemorated the 4 miners killed in an accident  a year ago and paid homage to their memory.

Last May 9, at the Mindeli Shaft, four people died as a result of a damaged special elevator. Several months after this incident, one more accident happened in the same shaft killing 6 people and injuring 3 miners.

"After 12 days 11 people have died in this small town because there is no protection of labor safety, labor rights. The government does not take responsibility. The fight for life is impossible, "said Irakli Kupradze, a participant of the rally.
