Thousands of people marched in the streets of Tbilisi to protect the family purity. They marched to the Holy Trinity Cathedral .Georgian Patriarch has already blessed them. Accordingly, the procession is over.
Specially for this day, parishioners from 40 dioceses were transported to Tbilisi this morning. The procession started at about 12:00 from the Philharmonic and the parish took on all the central square of the capital. Some participants of the rally were wearing traditional Georgian clothes . They called youth to wear traditional clothes as well.
"Today is the day of the family purity. It is important for everyone, who cares for their families. We want to tell other Georgians that we want them to wear such clothes and not torn clothes,"- said Ketevan Iremashvili, the rally participant.
