500 kilo volt substation for the Bidzina Ivanishvili"s Bitcoin factory -3 hectares of land in Gldani have been allocated for the construction works.
In parallel, it has become known that the expansion of the bitcoin industry, which is in a free economic zone is planned. The opposition argues that the new substation is constructed for Ivanishvili"s bitcoin farm and the money for development of the business of the Georgian Dream"s chairman should be paid by people.
The Tbilisi Mayor confirmed the information on the allocation of land in Gldani but denied that the substation was constructed for Ivanishvili"s bitcoin enterprise.
Before the Gldani substation the population of the country has already paid one million lari to construct a new substation at Tabori mountain. The power transmission system borders with Bidzina Ivanishvili"s territory and the opposition then asserted that the project was implemented for the business of the ex PM. But even now the government says that the electricity generated by the substation will be used for the population.
