After accusing of blackmail, the Mayor of Tbilisi met with the strikers of the Metropolitan. Kakha Kaladze held a meeting with the part of the employees in Tbilisi City Hall and then went to the Depo.

A one-hour meeting in the Tbilisi City Hall ended with no results. After that Kakhi Kaladze decided to go to the depot to the strikers.

The announcement was made by the Vice-Mayor of Tbilisi. Irakli Khmaladze who stated that the parties should find a common language in the interest of the population.
