Russian occupiers have kidnapped Father Joane Okhanashvili, the cleric , the head of the Dirbi Church.

The State Security Service confirms the fact of kidnapping a cleric, claiming that Father Joane was near the occupation line with another accompanying person.

Additional details are unknown at this time. Presumably, Father Joane was in the village of Dvani near the occupation line where the construction of the temple is underway.

The EU Monitoring Mission is informed about the incident.
