Journalist Vasil Silagadze started hunger strike at parliament

Journalist Vasil Silagadze addressed such extreme form of protest as hunger strike at the parliament.The decision has been made after his health has deteriorated and rehabilitation in Germany became neccessary.

Silagadze, who suffered limbs injury after a car accident, applied to the City Hall for financial assistance but was refused . Now he asks for help the chairperson of the parliament.

"I started a hunger strike and I will not stop until I have a meeting with the Chairman of the Parliament to ask for rehabilitation in Germany," said Silagadze.
