Group attempt to cross state border illegally,- 8 people from Sri Lanka are detained

Eight Sri Lankan citizens have been detained for attempting to cross the state border illegally. The law enforcers detained the defendants in the third frontier segment.

The committed crime envisages from 4 to 5 years of imprisonment. According to the investigation, the defendants tried to cross the Georgian state border illegally from Turkey to Georgia bypassing the border checkpoint.
