Weather forecasters announce a new record in Georgia. The temperature will rise from 39 to 41 degrees for the first time and the heat will last for a few days. The temperature in the capital will be 39 degrees today. The higher temperature is expected in regions of Eastern and Western Georgia. The high temperature in Georgia will last until July 3.

TheWeather forecasters say that summer will be warmer than usual and temperature will reach 39 degrees in some days.

According to Amiran Gamkrelidze, the Director General of Disease Control and Public Health centre, citizens should refrain from walking in the sun, drink more water and try to stay in buildings.
