The central highway connecting Mestia-Jvari-Zugdidi is open.

After a few hours of negotiations with the participants of the rally,the movement of cars was resumed at around 11pm.

According to locals,a special commission is expected in Svaneti to discuss problems existing with local population.

In spite of this, the local population declares that they do not have an objective work of the commission. According to them, they have taken into consideration the festive day in Svaneti and opened the road.

Investigation Service of the Ministry of Finance entered Chubure and Khaishi in the framework of the illegal cutting of timber, which caused the protest of locals. The protest was dissolved after negotiations late last night.
