A situation is calm in Khaishi and Chuberi after yesterday"s protest. Locals have opened a central road. But the locals say that the problem remains unsolved. At this time all saws are sealed in both villages.

Reportedly saws were sealed yesterday, after entry of the Investigation Service of the Ministry of Finance.

The timber business is the only source of income for the Khaishi and Chuberi population. That is what caused a protest yesterday.

" We want jobs, we do not want wood. This is the only source of income and an alternative should be found. If they name tourism- everyone goes to Mestia, nobody stops here,"- says one of the locals.
An entry of the Investigation Service of the Ministry of Finance was followed by a protest in Svaneti. The process ended with an agreement.
