Former secretary of the Justice Council and acting Judgeof the Appeal Court Levan Murusidze believes that Nino Gvenetadze resigned from the position due to health reasons.
The ex-Secretary of High Council of Justice excludes that the reason for Gvenetadze"s decision is the clan rule in the court, pressure from the members of the council or any particular case.
Murusidze says in conversation with "Courier" that he also does not have information about the controversy between the chairperson of the Court of Appeal Mikhail Chinchaladze and Nino Gvenetadze.
As regards clan rulership in the court system, Murusidze calls the statements made about it speculations.
"As I know lately, there were a number of issues on which consensus was achieved and there was no tension. There is no clan ruleship in the judiciary. Of course there were some awkward moments due to our past, but I believe that our personal interests were put aside and we were really thinking about the interests of the court, "said Levan Murusidze.
