Reportedly, several people were injured in the Lekhzeri territory, Svaneti, where a glacier chunk broke down.

The Emergency Situations Service does not confirm information about the injured.

The locals say that the glacier collapsed near the site where Mestia Chalahesi is being constructed and they believe that the reason is the collapse is the construction of the HPP. The rescue service is mobilized on the ground.
