"My brother was in captivity and shot after torture because it refused to trample down the Georgian flag" - relatives of dead soldiers recall the August War

Parents and relatives of the soldiers killed in the August war have arrived at the Mukhatgverdi Cemetery. They remember those days when their family members went to war but could not get back.

"I do not know exactly when my brother was killed. My brother was in captivity and was shot after torture. He was with other twelve boys. I know that my brother refused to trample down the Georgian flag, the flag which is on my shoulder now, " - said Sopho Sopromadze, the sister of Shmagi Sopromadze.
