Donald Trump today will sign a law on defense, in which support to Georgia is mentioned.
The Law on Defense Budget, which bears the name of Senator John McCain, envisages allocation of $ 716 billion for strengthening US defense capabilities in 2019.
The document was approved by the Senate on August 2 and sent to the President for signature. It supports NATO"s "open door" policy and Georgia"s accession to the alliance.
The draft law envisages military assistance to Georgia and Ukraine.
Ukraine"s assistance is $ 250 million. The draft law restricts military cooperation of the US with Russia.
