According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, three Georgian nationals were injured as a result of the accident in Stavropol. The health condition of all three is satisfactory and the consulate is trying to get into contact with them.

According to Russian Road Police, one of the two people killed in the accident is a double citizen of Georgia and Russia.

A passenger bus from Tbilisi to Krasnodar crashed into a Kamaz-type truck. There were 40 people in the bus during the incident. At least 28 people were injured in the accident.

Reportedly, the driver of the bus failed to steer the wheel and crashed into a moving truck in the opposite direction.
