The United Opposition begins to collect signatures in order to ban the cannabis cultivation and export by a constitution.
Opposition members officially appealed to the Parliament today.
The United Opposition demands amendments to the Constitution after collecting 200,000 signatures, which lead to prohibition of marijuana cultivation and export constitution.
Opposition parties say the suspension of the existing bill is not a solution and the government"s initiative should be fully envisaged from the legislative body.
"We call on the Committee on Procedural Issues to timely consider our initiative to start collecting signatures," said one of the leaders of United National Movement Zaal Udumashvili.
In order to register the constitutional initiative, the opposition has already submitted a draft law to the parliament.
