According to the National Statistics Office of Georgia, economic growth in the country is 2% compared to the previous year. Financial activity is also enhanced.

"The average real growth in the first eight months of 2018 was 4.8 percent, and in August 2018 real GDP growth was 2.0 percent," Gogita Todradze, executive director of the National Statistics Office of Georgia said
