After a few hours of interrogation, the crew members of "Rustavi 2" have been examined. The Gori Expertise Bureau should assess what kind of injuries  Eka Gagua and Levan Kalandia have as a result of the physical assault by Chinese company representatives.

A crew of "Rustavi 2" was phisically assaulted by representatives of the office of the 23rd Bureau of the Chinese Railway.

According to the journalist and operator, they have injuries. Eka Gagua hopes that investigation into the incident will have results and the perpetrators will be punished.

"It was an ordinary attack on journalists. This was a hindrance of journalistic activity, it was threatening and physical violence because we have recorded the problems, that exist regarding this project, "Eka Gagua said.

Levan Kalandia recalled the incident in details.

" They have requested to give them a chip. I refused, which caused aggression and I I was asked to give them the camera. I refused again, but they forced me, there was no other way. In the meantime, I managed to remove the chip, "said Levan Kalandia.

"Courier" was preparing a story on the violations revealed during the construction of the new railway line. In the process the representatives of the Chinese company seized the camera and tried to remove the video footage.

The expertise ended several minutes ago. Eka Gagua and Levan Kalandia are taken to Khashuri police again where investigative actions will continue with the identification procedure.
