Last week the "Georgian Dream`s" presidential candidate disappeared from public space. The ruling party continues campaign without Salome Zurabishvili. This fact is explained by the "Georgian Dream" that the candidate is waiting for the appoinmtment of the second round of the elections.

"We are waiting for the official announcement of the second tour, after which Salome will start a very active, very effective campaign. In the parallel regime
we have already begun to hold working meetings in the regions in order to reach out to our people, "- explained Mariam Jashi, Chairperson of the Education, Science and Culture Committee of Parliament.

The general secretary of the party also makes an explanation. According to him, the election campaign plan is being written now.

"The first step is to write a plan on how to start, what will be the second round of the presidential candidate, how will the party stand in the daily regime and then we will start the second phase of the campaign," Kaladze said.
