NGO Sector Speaks of Persecution on Political Grounds in Kindergartens

The persecution on political grounds - the non-governmental sector and the opposition speak about the pressure on employees and political motives of dismissas.

This assessment followed the coverage of the story about political persecution of the director of public kindergarten N 50 aired in the Courier.

The director of the kindergarten N 50 was forced to support Salome Zourabichvili at the presidential election and asked to mobilize another 6 people who would vote for the government supported candidate.

Inga Gugava, a founder of the NGO"Preschoolers - Our future" says that this is not the only case when the directors speak about the pressure on them.

"These people speak that there is direct pressure on behalf of the City Mayor Kaladze. Exactly with his instructions, attacks on disobedient directors are carried out "said Inga Gugava.

Tengiz Giorgadze, a member of the United National Movement, says that the director of public kindergarten N 50 director was dismissed on political grounds because she refused to mobilize the voters.
