"This is not what we should be proud of, I agree with criticism" - Roman Kakulia on postponing of a plenary session due to the absence of quorum

The lack of lawmakers and the plenary session postponed by the opposition - the opposition blames the ruling team. Opponents of the ruling team say that the parliamentary majority did not mobilize the MPs.

One of the leaders of the parliamentary majority Roman Kakulia partly agrees with the criticism of the opposition.

According to the member of the ruling party, while the Georgian Dream has a constitutional majority, the justifying themselves on the lack of quorum is not right. However, the MP speaks about the responsibility of the opposition too.

"This is not a topic that we should be proud of, but I think it is resolved and I agree with criticism. I can not say anything here. We must not forget about the responsibility of the minority and they have the responsibility of the lawmakers as well, but perhaps the lion"s share of resposibility lies on the majority, "- Roman Kakulia.

At today"s session lawmakers should have considered the draft budget of 2019, but due to the absence of quorum, the session was not started and it was postponed until 16:00.
