The 56th universal baptizing in the Holy Trinity Cathedral lasted till the end of the day.

Patriarch has become godfather for more than 700 babies. The Catholicos-Patriarch of Georgia arrived at the Cathedral at 8:00 pm and addressed the gathering in the temple with the sermon and blessed his godchildren.

For today, Ilia II has more than 37 thousand godchildren. They are the third and subsequent children of families that were married in the church.
