One year from the LeoGranand tragedy, citizens go to the hotel, light up the candles and recall the night of the tragedy. The civil mourning ceremony is also planned.

On November 24 last year, 11 people were killed and more than 20 people were injured in a fire in the hotel. Two persons are detained on the fact of violation of fire safety rules.

"Last November 24, was a very painful day not only for me but for the whole of Georgia. We lost very decent boys. Some of them were my friends. I came
here to commemorate them. I remember their pain, it"s a tough day when due to unresolved problems 11 people have been killed , "said Andrea Turmanidze, the archpriest.
