Protest in Svaneti - Lentekhi and Mestia residents held a demonstration in support of environmentalists at the office of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD).
Participants of the rally are demanding the suspension of construction the HPPs because they claim that it is a big threat to the mountainous regions.
According to them, the government has actively resumed works in Kvemo Svaneti after the elections and the population urges them to immediately stop construction, otherwise they will continue their actions.
