Guram Donadze, the former head of the Press Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, who currently is convicted, made a comment before entering the courtroom.

" Two things should end in this country. One - political speculation and, which continued for all these years and second- I hope that a person, who has a different opinion will not be imprisoned just because I have a different opinion and I am a journalist," Donadze said.
