A citizen born in 1983 was detained on charges of blackmail and extortion. As it was established, the accused was threatening to disseminate information about sexual orientation, and systematically extorted money.

Investigation is under way under Article 181 of the Criminal Code of Georgia, which is punishable by 4 to 7 years imprisonment.
