A tariff of gas has remained unchanged - this statement was made in the Georgian Energy and Water Supply Regulatory Commission.

According to the final decision of the GNCC, natural gas tariffs for population of capital has decreased by 0.014 GEL and for population in regions decreased by 0.011 GEL. Tariff is determined by several components.

"The main component that allows us to change consumer tariffs on the current level is the government"s decision to minimize the social gas price ," said Irina Milorava.
The Ministry of Economy states that the state was involved in maintaining the gas tariff.
Natia Turnava, the Deputy Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development said that the natural gas tariff was maintained at the expense of state subsidies.
