The footage of the incident in the kindergarten was spread in the social network.The kindergarten management agency also confirms the fact that a large number of pyrotechnics was brought by one of the parent without agreement with the administration .
Kakha Gvantseladze, the director of the kindergarten management agency of Tbilisi, says that this fact will be followed with a very strong response.
"Parents brought pyrotechnics and released during the New Year Celebration , which was in itself a violation of safety norms, the breach of the kindergarten regulations. Therefore, we asked for the explanations from the administration and the director and we will follow this fact with the strictest response, "said Kakha Gvantseladze.
During the explosion, one child was slightly injured.
The Ministry of Internal Affairs is investigating the incident.
