Nino Lomjaria, the Public Defender of Georgia criticizes the list of judicial candidates of the Supreme Court submitted to the parliament. The Ombudsman considers that the list should not be discussed by the Parliament and it is incompatible with the Constitution.

"The list is incompatible with the constitution and there are no relevant legislative regulations, which will give us some confidence in the process and the list t," said Nino Lomjaria.
