Selection process judges -first meeting of working group to be held

The meeting of the working group on the issue of selection of judges will be held in the parliament today. Irakli Kobakhidze will lead the meeting.
The third sector representatives do not see the sense in participating in the working group created in the Parliament because they believe that the group includes those members of the Council of Justice who supported a 10-people list for life term appointment in the Supreme Court.
The main demand of NGOs is to change the composition of the High Council of Justice.The controversy in the Georgian Dream was triggered by a presented to the Parliament list of 10 people for a life term to be appointed as judges in the Supreme Court.
