Georgian citizens living in different European countries have already come to Rome to meet with Mikheil Saakashvili. The meeting organized by the Movement " Home Together " will start at the historic center of Rome at 16:00 Tbilisi time . Organizers say that after the incidents in Liege, the security measures in Rome are enhanced.
"Based on what we have seen in Liege , safety measures are tightened. This is not a good approach, what our government is doing, sending agents and provocateurs. However, we have taken adequate measures against this. First of all it is a security tightening. I want to say that this is the central place of Rome where the police are moving around everywhere. This building is a cultural heritage monument and is protected by the special unit for 24 hours . We have received the consent from the management that in case of any violation we will indicate a person who is a possible agent-provocateur or intends to do any provocation, this person will be detained and transferred to the police, "said one of the organizers of the meeting Badri Meburishvili.
