The National Bank responds to Mamuka Khazaradze"s statement. that he was blackmailed by the NBG.

The statement reads that they were fulfilling its commitments and it can not be considered as blackmail.

" The use of adequate sanctions against violation revealed in the Commercial Bank is a direct responsibility and liability of the National Bank of Georgia as the banking sector supervisor.

Sanctions, which may be imposed by the National Bank, are specified by the relevant legislation,"- reads the statement.
