If Irakli Kvaratskhelia was killed, punishment of the persons involved in the offense should become the main topic - the statement was made by MP Sergi Kapanadze, member of "European Georgia".
According to him, it should be immediately determined what happened in the occupied region and what happened to 29- year-old Irakli Kvaratskhelia.
"If he was killed or if he was tortured, we should have a strict response as a country. At least, those people should be held responsible who participated in this murder, they should be included in the list of Tatunashvili and the punishment of those who took part in it should become the main topic."

Eyewitnesses say that Irakli Kvaratskhelia was detained by Russian occupants on the occupation line near Tagiloni-Nabakevi. According to eyewitnesses, there was an argument on the ground, after which the occupants severely beat the man. According to locals, when the doctor came, Kvaratskhelia was already dead.
