"We are sure that the Georgian Church will be among the churches which recognize the autonomy of the Church of Ukraine," the statement was made by the representative of the Foreign Affairs Office of the Autonomous Church of Ukraine in the European Parliament.
Eustrace says he is sure that Georgia will overcome the difficulties that it faces today and recognize the autonomy of the Ukrainian Church.
"We are sure that in the not too distant future the Georgian Church will be among the churches that recognize autocephaly of the Ukrainian Church. The reason is simple, the Georgian Church has gone through the path that we have gone through. It understands someone else"s pain. We understand the problems and challenges that impede Georgia, today or tomorrow, but we are sure that the Georgian Church will overcome these challenges and the relationship between our churches will be established similar to the relationship between Ukrainian and Georgian people, "said the representative of the Foreign Affairs Service of autocephalous church of Ukraine .
